YOUR PHOTOS. MEASURED LOCALLY.

Your photo library has a monthly price.

Balso shows what your library is costing you in iCloud storage, then helps you reclaim exactly what you choose—without taking decisions away from you.

Nothing is ever preselected for deletion.

INSIDE BALSO

Plain before access. Deliberate before deletion.

The app explains its privacy boundary before iOS asks for photo access. In review, every selection starts empty and the final system confirmation remains.

WHY MEASUREMENT MATTERS

A small storage change can cross a whole pricing tier.

iCloud+ plans are sold in fixed tiers. Balso helps you see whether your photo library contains enough reclaimable space to make a lower tier possible. Savings are never guaranteed.

Storage is continuous. Pricing is not.

Illustration only. If reclaiming enough photo storage brings your total iCloud use below a tier limit, you may be able to move to a lower plan. Current tier prices are not shown because no verified pricing source was supplied.

CHECK THE DISTANCE

How much space separates you from a lower limit?

Enter your own total storage and a plan limit to understand the gap. Balso measures the photo-library part of that equation.

About 36 GB

would need to be reclaimed across iCloud to reach the entered limit.

This is a planning aid, not a savings estimate. Eligibility depends on your total iCloud use and Apple's current plans—not your photo library alone.

HOW IT WORKS

Measure. Review. Choose.

Balso makes the storage visible and leaves the decisions with you.

  1. 01

    Measure

Balso reads your photo library on-device and shows where its storage is going.

  2. 02

    Review

See exact duplicates and other possible cleanup groups. Every selection starts empty.

  3. 03

    Choose

You decide what goes. Balso asks for review, then Apple asks for system confirmation.

PRIVATE BY ARCHITECTURE

Your photos stay on your phone.

Balso analyzes your library on-device. Photos are not uploaded to Balso, and there is no Balso account, advertising, or analytics.

  • Local analysis. The work happens on your device.
  • Empty selection. Nothing is ever ticked for you.
  • No behavioural tracking. Neither the app nor this website uses analytics.

DELETION, DELIBERATELY

You stay in control at every step.

Balso suggests where to look, not what your memories are worth. Favourites and shared-library photos are protected from destructive recommendations.

QUESTIONS, ANSWERED PLAINLY

Before you give Balso photo access.

Does Balso upload my photos?

No. Photo analysis happens on your device, and your photos are not uploaded to Balso.

Does Balso automatically delete anything?

No. Nothing starts selected. You review and choose each item, and Apple's system confirmation remains part of deletion.

What does Balso Pro unlock?

Exact-duplicate cleanup is free from start to finish. Pro unlocks Balso's other cleanup actions; their counts and reclaimable sizes remain visible before purchase.

Is Balso a subscription?

No. Balso Pro is one payment, with no subscription, advertising, artificial delays, daily caps, queues, or throttling.

Can Balso guarantee a lower iCloud bill?

No. A lower tier is only possible if your total iCloud storage fits within it after cleanup. Balso measures your photo library so you can judge the gap.

What happens when photos are deleted?

Deletion uses Apple's Photos system. Where Apple's Recently Deleted feature applies, items may remain recoverable there for a period set by Apple.

Does Balso collect analytics or require an account?

No. Balso has no analytics, advertising, or Balso account.
